FinServ was founded in 2005 while helping one of the largest and most complex funds in the world as they grew from $9 billion in AUM to over $40 billion in AUM in just three years. In building over 15 bespoke systems and integrating over 20 vendor systems for that one client our team acquired the experience and skills that has led to 11 years of helping over 30 of the top 100 hedge funds and private equity funds solve their most challenging business issues.
Our firm's goal is to become the preeminent management consulting firm servicing the alternative asset management marketplace. The FinServ team brings business consulting, project management, systems development and integration experience from the world’s top consulting firms and financial services institutions. Our team has experienced the alternative asset industry from the inside, through our work with hedge funds, prime brokers, global custodians and fund administrators.
We offer extensive knowledge on the best operational practices in alternative asset management, and the software and infrastructure required to achieve an opportunistic, efficient and compliant organization.
We are passionate about our business and are committed to helping our clients succeed.
Our Vision for Our Client's
FinServ Consulting was founded on the belief that leading alternative asset managers need a robust operational infrastructure in order to manage current assets and continue to create innovative products in diverse strategies and markets.
Firms are growing more complex, not less. In such a highly scrutinized industry, managers can’t afford to operate with rudimentary technologies to handle compliance, risk, trade order management, portfolio management, asset flows, fund accounting, reporting and other crucial business processes across the front-, middle- and back-office
Over the past two decades, our team members have gained deep expertise in complex alternative strategies and instruments, and the systems and processes required to manage them. Our approach goes beyond trading and settlement: We believe that firms need to focus as much on the middle- and back-office as they do on their front-office infrastructures.
FinServ offers a clear vision of where funds are today, and where they need to be going in the future. Our mission is to help investment managers build optimal and first-class operating environments to support an opportunistic style while ensuring that they can withstand inevitable market volatility, as well as growing demands for transparency, regulation and compliance.
On Time, On Budget Delivery
When you hire FinServ to perform a project you are getting a team with on time and on budget delivery as our main focus. In each engagement, we work closely with clients to assess their goals and identify the appropriate technologies for their needs. In order to accomplish this, we leverage our extensive experience in alternative asset management and financial services to ensure cost-effective, best-practice solutions.
We utilize disciplined project management methodologies and tools to support each implementation, offering regular communication, status reporting, issue tracking, risk management and milestone reporting to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget. We value transparency, and openness, and aim to exceed client expectations with every project.
Our core services are Systems Integration, Systems Development and Business Consulting, however our focus is also on repeatable solutions that enable us to bring results to our clients in the shortest time possible. Over our eleven years we have developed a deep level of expertise in both functional areas like HR and industry focuses like trading systems.
